Account and Google sign-in
The Club uses Google sign-in to verify your identity and give you access to your football management careers. We store your verified email address, Google account identifier and an internal account identifier. Google provides basic profile information during sign-in; The Club does not retain your Google display name or profile picture. We do not request access to your Gmail messages, contacts or Google Drive files.
Google handles your Google credentials. The Club does not receive your Google password. Existing account records imported from our previous hosting service preserve access to existing careers; older account metadata may remain in the migrated database and backups.
Google processes sign-in information under its privacy policy.
Sessions and career information
We use an essential, HTTP-only session cookie to keep you signed in. The database stores a hash of the session token, its account association and its expiry. Sessions expire after 30 days and signing out revokes the current session. Short-lived sign-in records help protect the Google sign-in process.
We store the careers you create or join, your membership and club management decisions, and the simulation state and history needed to run those careers. Shared careers make relevant game information available to their participating managers.
Hosting, logs and backups
The application and database run on a Hetzner server. Operational web-server logs may include your IP address, request path, browser information and request time. We use these records to operate the service and investigate failures or misuse.
Encrypted database backups contain account and career information so we can recover the service. Backup copies can retain information after it changes in the active database. Retention depends on the backup schedule and rotation in use.
Account information is used to authenticate you and control access to careers. The application does not use Google account information for advertising or sell it.
Questions and account requests
For privacy questions, or to request access, correction or deletion of your account information, contact mlsnexttracker@gmail.com. We may need to verify that the account belongs to you before handling a request. Career changes can affect other managers in a shared world, and backup copies may remain until rotation.
